Sovereign Exploration Associates International, Inc. Successfully Commences Operations on Possible Site of the Fantome Fleet

NEWTOWN, Penn., Aug. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sovereign Exploration Associates International, Inc. ("Sovereign") (BULLETIN BOARD: SVXA) , a company with portfolio investments in maritime artifact exploration, discovery, and recovery, announced today that its wholly owned portfolio company, Artifact Recovery and Conservation, Inc. (ARC), has initiated operations on the site of what is believed to be the site of the HMS Fantome ("the Fantome") and its companion vessels lost at sea in 1814. The operations will include sensing, and site preparation.

Captain Robert MacKinnon, President and CEO of ARC, stated, "The Fantome Cove site is one of several new ventures that ARC is undertaking. Management believes that the site could provide significant understanding of the events and final disposition of the HMS Fantome, its companion vessels, and historic artifacts from the first four U.S. Presidencies."
